In celebration of International Women's Month, Stuart Weitzman is thrilled to share that the release of the Spring 2021 Campaign marks a continuation of the brand's ongoing philanthropic partnership with Vital Voices Global Partnership.

The global nonprofit is committed to investing in women leaders who are solving the world’s greatest challenges, ensuring a more equitable world for us all. We are dedicated to helping them achieve their mission through a donation, which includes a $100,000 grant from the Coach Foundation on behalf of Stuart Weitzman.

The Spring 2021 Campaign, Footsteps to Follow, stars SW global spokeswoman Serena Williams and her daughter Olympia in a series of emotional images concepted to convey the notion that any generation can inspire every generation. Inspired by this notion, the SW global spokeswoman partnered with Stuart Weitzman to select Judith Martinez, the CEO of InHerShoes Movement, as the latest recipient of the Stuart Weitzman x Vital Voices grant. The nonprofit organization she founded is centered on empowering the next generation of girls and women to live beyond fear and redefine their futures through one question: What would you do if you were 1% more courageous?

"As a first-generation student and Filipina American, it just felt so surreal and still does," Judith says of being selected to receive the Stuart Weitzman x Vital Voices grant. "As cliché as it sounds, I don't see this as Serena and Stuart Weitzman choosing me; they chose my mother, my grandmother and an entire generation of first-gens striving to do, be and create better. That's how this grant feels, and that's what I'm committed to making it mean for those we can now impact because of it."

Meet the Recipient:
Judith Martinez, Founder & CEO
of InHerShoes Movement

Judith Martinez is the founder and CEO of InHerShoes Movement. The social impact advocate started InHerShoes Movement in 2014 as a "silly community project" through Kickstarter the fall after graduating from Santa Clara University and secretly declining her dream law school acceptance. Judith's work through InHerShoes is an example of what is available when we choose courage over fear: a whole new world of possibility.

Described by Judith as "a modern woman's community for courage," InHerShoes Movement helps redefine traditional standards of what it looks like to be a successful woman today — particularly at the intersection of entrepreneurship, media and social impact — through workshops, community events and more. Since its launch, the organization has impacted thousands of young girls, women and communities in the pursuit of possibility.

"At InHerShoes, we believe the lives we love are on the other side of fear and it's a lifelong journey — one act of courage at a time," Judith says. "Whether it's through a purchase supporting a cause you care about, a conversation changing the trajectory of your life or simply mustering up the courage to raise your hand in class, we believe in supporting the in-between moments that ultimately make up our lives. It's about answering the question, 'What would you do if you were 1% more courageous?' for yourself every day in your own way."

The Stuart Weitzman x Vital Voices grant will go toward supporting the organization's impact and initiatives through their diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging programming. In addition, it will go toward equipping budding grassroots community leaders with courage and resources at InHerShoes' Catalyze Courage Summit for International Day of the Girl later this year.
