"Everything starts with the shoe," says Varenne, who styled our shoot for The 2022 Edit, pictured here. "Shoes adapt to what's happening in the world, and what's happening is that there are no rules. Lines are blurred between masculine and feminine. Between casual and elevated. People have the freedom to dress how they want and they don't care.
