STUART WEITZMAN FURTHER PARTNERS
WITH INHERSHOES MOVEMENT

Driven by our purpose of inspiring women to shine with every step, Stuart Weitzman is proud to announce our continued support of InHerShoes Movement, a non-profit dedicated to catalyzing women and girls to live their lives more courageously, by making a donation to the organization on behalf of the Tapestry Foundation. Our donation will support the organization’s diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives, beginning with National Day of Courage on February 4, 2022.

National Day of Courage is a day dedicated to honoring those who paved the way for change with their courageous acts and a day dedicated to inspiring others to be courageous in their own ways. Originally begun by the Ford Foundation, the first Day of Courage took place on Monday, February 4, 2013, to commemorate Rosa Parks’ 100th birthday. A symbol of courage, she has been referred to by the U.S. Congress as the first lady of the civil rights movement.

In support of National Day of Courage, we also partnered with an array of social influencers, each courageous in their own way, to spread messages of courage. In the images, these women wear the GOLDIE SHINE SNEAKER, a look designed for style and comfort.

We first began working with the organization in March 2021 when we partnered with Serena Williams to select the non-profit to receive the Stuart Weitzman x Vital Voices Global Partnership grant. In the future, we will further partner with InHerShoes to develop its mentorship and live event programming.
